I feel that this tail embodies everything that a mermaid should be. Dark and mysterious at times (like the edges of the tail), but also fun and playful (the lighter parts and the yellow part). Above all, mermaids are beautiful, graceful creatures, and I felt like the black accent stripes really showed that.
